YEAR END REPORT

YWAM Orlando Missionary Stats And Stories For 2025

In Matthew 28, Jesus gives his disciples the Great Commission, a task that is still before us today.

There are over 3 billion people in the world with no access to the Gospel of Christ and literally 2.2 billion of these will live and die without EVER hearing the name of Jesus. The truth is, there are not enough people to go and tell them.

That's why YWAM Orlando is committed to reaching the lost with the love of Jesus until every person on the planet has heard the Gospel, has a Bible in their heart language, and an opportunity to be discipled.

But what does that really mean?

In 2025, YWAM Orlando sent 16 teams to 15 nations around the world, and in those nations:

11,954 People heard the Gospel of Christ.

1,845 Bibles were distributed.

2,512 Made commitments to Christ.

This is what YWAM Orlando exists to do. The reality is that there are people in places like the Himalayas, Thailand, Cambodia, Africa, the Middle East, and Haiti that have heard the Gospel of Christ and have access to the Bible in their own language for the very first time because of an obedient "Yes" given by our students to go and preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Among Gen Z, faith in Christ is on the rise and they have responded to the call of the Lord to go to the hardest and the darkest and share the love of Jesus with those who have never heard. This year, YWAM Orlando saw 287 students trained and sent out to nations across the globe. And this is just the beginning.

Because of your generosity and prayers, YWAM Orlando continues to grow as we train and equip this generation to carry the love of Jesus to every tongue, tribe, and nation. Together we're reaching everyone, everywhere with the love of Jesus.

Until All Have Heard,

Michael Berg

A TREASURE IN THE HANDS OF A REMOTE TRIBE

On our final day visiting a remote tribe near Davao City, we had the joy of giving them Bibles in their own language—something many had never owned. The local church seemed to have had only two worn English Bibles to share. One woman, without being asked, eagerly stood up mid-sermon and read aloud in her language, even the children treasured their Bibles in a way I had never seen before. As we started gathering the plastic wrapping of the Bibles to throw away, some asked to keep it so that they could protect and preserve theirs better. Their joy and look of their faces was a powerful reminder from God of the beauty and worth of His Word.

We had a year of unprecedented advancement on our physical campus here in Florida this year. We're incredibly grateful to God and our campus partners for moving us forward as we continue to become a major mission's training launchpad!

A GIRL HEALED AS THE BONDS OF WITCHCRAFT WERE BROKEN

One day while preaching in a Kenyan market, our team did a call of prayer for healing, and over 15 people were healed! During this time of prayer, one of my teammates felt to pray for a 19-year-old girl who had been deaf and mute since she was three. While we prayed, another girl felt it may be a result of witchcraft and began to speak with the girl's mother. A crowd began to form around us. These sweet people, many who had known the girl her whole life, joined us in prayer to see her healed. After praying eight+ times, we asked her if she could say "hello." She began to make a sound as she attempted to speak - none of her friends had heard her do this before!

Afterward, we found out that while we prayed for this young girl's healing, her mother had repented for taking her to a witch doctor when she was young–causing a curse to be put on her daughter that made her deaf and mute. No one in the village knew about this part of the family's story, so when the mom repented, it was even more powerful. In the end, the mother not only repented but gave her life to the Lord and the daughter saw significant progress in speaking and making noise!

Our team walked away with a deeper understanding of the power of repentance. It was important to see that the ties the enemy can hold over our lives, through sin, are so real. And, when we repent we are stomping on the enemy's face, giving authority back to the Lord instead.
