Youth with a Mission is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.
YWAM Orlando is just one of many YWAM locations that exist in 180+ countries.
THE YWAM STORY
YWAM International
Before 1960 it was challenging for young people to get involved in missions. YWAM created a way to include every generation in fulfilling the Great Commission by accelerating young believers onto the mission field.
YWAM Orlando
Everyone on the planet was made for a relationship with God. But half the world hasn't heard the Gospel, and many will never even hear the name of Jesus - unless a missionary goes and tells them.
YWAM Orlando believes that everyone on the planet should have a chance to hear the Gospel, a Bible in their heart language, and an opportunity to be discipled.
That's why we're a movement of young believers that share the love of Jesus with everyone, everywhere. We use missionary training and outreach to prepare youth for leadership in the Great Commission and prepare them to reach the nations with the Gospel.
Here's some of the story....
In 1994 the Lord spoke to Michael Berg about creating a missions training launchpad. A year later, the Berg family arrived in Central Florida and YWAM Orlando hosted its first two missionary training schools.
It would take a lot of space to create a "training launchpad," and God consistently provided more spaces to house students, train, gather, and work. But in just a few years, YWAM Orlando outgrew those spaces.
In 2010, after years of prayer, hard work, and seeking the Lord for a property big enough to host the vision, YWAM Orlando purchased the property where it's located today - but the campus wasn't in any condition to inhabit. Buildings were barely salvageable, and a lot of work would need to be done.
Between 2010 and 2019 God continue to provide resources to restore and renovate a campus that had been sold for salvage rights.
Today YWAM Orlando trains hundreds of young people each year - and they share the Gospel with thousands of people all around the world.

Based upon God’s Word, who He is, and His initiative of salvation through the atoning work of Jesus (His death, burial, and resurrection), the following responses are strongly emphasized in YWAM:

During DTS Campus Phase you’ll have access to Tracks. They’re weekly breakout sessions that push you to grow in your talents and develop new skills that you’ll use in the nations. You’ll learn how to use these skills to rally your generation, execute a vision, and reach people with the Gospel.
